Al-Meraj Quran Institute was founded with a single, clear vision: to make authentic, high-quality Quran education accessible to every Muslim family on earth — regardless of where they live, what language they speak, or how much time they have.
We believe that every Muslim deserves access to a qualified, Ijaazah-certified teacher who can guide them through the Quran with patience, accuracy, and genuine care. Not in a group of 30. Not via an app. But one-to-one, face-to-face, heart-to-heart.

The Story of Al-Meraj

2019
The Beginning
Al-Meraj Institute was founded with a single teacher and a vision: to make authentic 1-to-1 Quran education accessible to Muslims worldwide. Our first students came from the UK and Pakistan.

2020
Going Global
The pandemic accelerated demand for quality online Quran classes. Al-Meraj grew to serve students in 8 countries. We expanded our teacher team and introduced the Sisters Programme and Kids Programme.

2022
Ijaazah Pathway
We partnered with Al-Azhar trained scholars to introduce our Ijaazah pathway — allowing advanced students to earn formal certification in Quran recitation. A milestone moment for our institution.

2024
500+ Students, 15+ Countries
Al-Meraj now serves over 500 students in 15+ countries across 6 continents. We launched our Digital Resources division and the Mission: Real World activity system for children.
